Symposium Outcomes:

Participants will receive information on how to improve practices across the expanding dispute resolution continuum including conflict prevention and early resolution processes
Participants will acquire advanced conflict management skills and knowledge critical to the effective resolution of special education disputes
Participants will gain a better understanding of the effective management and coordination of dispute resolution systems
Participants will receive the latest information on research in the field of special education dispute resolution
Networks of state and local dispute resolution coordinators, practitioners, educators and families will be strengthened
CADRE’s role as the leader in capturing knowledge, identifying best practice standards, disseminating emerging practices, and cross-pollinating the fields of special education and dispute resolution to resolve issues in the best interest of the child will be enhanced
