The Technical Assistance Alliance for Parent Centers (the Alliance) focuses on providing technical assistance to all 80 federally funded Parent Training and Information Projects (PTIs). The Alliance offers a variety of resources to help strengthen the Parent Centers’ ability to effectively serve the families in their community including a multicultural technical assistance coordinator in each center.

The Alliance is a partnership comprised of a coordinating office located at PACER Center in Minnesota and four regional centers located in New Hampshire, Ohio, Texas, and California. The Alliance has the capacity to reach hundreds of parent trainers and thousands of families throughout the country, and is committed to ensuring that federally funded Parent Training and Information Centers and Community Parent Resource Centers have technology for on-line access. Networking and collaborating with a variety of multicultural, limited English proficiency, and literacy organizations will serve to increase cultural competency and accessibility in publications and technical assistance activities.
