Due Process Rights

The Reauthorized IDEA (1997) clarifies parties' due process rights. The full text of the 1997 IDEA is at http://www.directionservice.org/cadre/stat_hr5.cfm.

Perhaps the best document for enhancing your understanding of due process rights under IDEA is the NICHCY Training Module in the Due Process Rights Section of the CADRE web site.

Please also visit the websites of CADRE Partners and tour the CADRE website for a full understanding of existing resources concerning special education due process rights.
