The Oregon Department of Education, Office of Special Education surveyed potential and actual mediation participants during 2002. Here is a snapshot of their responses and a few of their brief comments. The data suggests that those who choose to attend mediation have a very positive experience and would recommend their mediator to parents and educators who are considering resolving a matter through mediation.
