Aimee Taylor has been a part of Direction Service for eight years and served as Conference Coordinator for the first three National Symposiums. She received a M.S. degree in special education at the University of Oregon where she conducted research in the areas of family involvement and collaboration. While at the University, Aimee provided training and supervision for student teachers in the Comprehensive Behavior Support Program. She currently divides her time between two programs at Direction Service. Aimee serves as the Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Coordinator and Data Specialist for CADRE and Director for Family Support and Service Coordination for Direction Service. In her role at CADRE she is exploring her interests in continuous quality improvement, data-based decision making and research. As the Director of Family Support and Service Coordination, Aimee manages the program and provides support and advocacy for families who have children with disabilities while building collaborative relationships between families and schools.
