Bonnie Todis is Associate Research Professor at Teaching Research, Western Oregon University, has conducted qualitative studies in several areas related to the integration of adults and children with disabilities in educational and community settings and has published the findings of these studies in books and refereed special education journals. Over the last 14 years, she has directed and co-directed seven OSEP funded projects, most of which employed both qualitative and quantitative methodologies. Dr. Todis has also conducted numerous evaluation studies, including a five-year evaluation of an OSEP-funded center, National Center to Improve the Tools of Educators (NCITE). Since 2001, Dr. Todis has worked closely with CADRE staff and with Sound Options Group, a mediation group in Washington State, to design and begin a pilot project to study the experiences of parents and school personnel who participate in the mediation process
