Sound Options Group, L.L.C. is an affiliation of professionals dedicated to the effective and durable resolution of interpersonal, organizational and community conflict. Principals, Greg Abell and Julie Shryock, began their collaboration in 1989 as founders of the not-for-profit Kitsap County Dispute Resolution Center. Both are members of the Society of Professionals in Dispute Resolution and the Mediation Consortium of Washington State. The Group designed and administers the highly successful Special Education Mediation Program for the Washington State Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction. They are currently coordinating design and implementation of a mediation program for the Infant and Toddler Early Intervention Program of the Department of Social and Health Services which administers Part C of IDEA.
