I have a writing/research background and am currently a grant writer for the College of Education at the University of Missouri-Columbia. I am also the mother of a 20-year-old son with a severe disability and have a special education background. I served as a research assistant for the Western Regional Resource Center at the University of Oregon from 1992-1995.
