Overall Mediation Training and Consultation Services:

Certified Educational Mediator (Justice Center of Atlanta) and former Director of Special Education in NYS, I have trained administrators, educators, parents and para-professionals on regulations of IDEA/Part 200. I believe that mediation should be a positive approach between schools and parents. I've conducted 1000+ meetings and have successful outcomes 98% of the time.

Familiarity with special education, early intervention and IDEA '97 regulations:

I have a B.S. degree in Special Education, a M.Ed. in Educational Administration and have worked with wide variety of age groups (2-22) in providing appropriate services. I've chaired a number of committees and provided trainings over the past 12 years on a wide range of topics within Special Education.

Additional Information:

I've initiated and conducted a grass roots parent advocates group and have worked with attorneys, state department officials, school district officials as well. Very well versed in IDEA/Part 200 & 200.1.
