A trusted safety net for Lane County families since 1976

Celebrating 50 years of connection, compassion, and community impact.

Direction Service supports youth, adults, and families across Lane County—through dedicated services tailored to each individual’s needs.

We work closely with you and community partners to build lasting solutions that promote independence and a better quality of life. With a focus on health and wellness, we can connect you with essential resources for daily living, education, and mental well-being.

We make sure every voice is heard and every person gets the care they need and deserve.

Rooted in connection and care, our Youth and Family Services offer a variety of programs to help children, teens, and young adults (ages 0–25), and families connect with supports, strengthen their skills, and thrive together.

Because every person’s story is unique, The Counseling Center uses a range of evidence-based approaches to support healing and growth for people of all ages

“Direction Service showed up for my kid year after year. Without that support, I’m confident my son would have been expelled from school and had very few prospects for a future. We are forever grateful for that advocacy. It really changed our lives.” - Direction Service Parent
